Well we finally did it. We cut Terek's hair. It was a lot harder on Mom and Dad than on him. It's amazing how a haircut ages and changes a baby. I know he is more comfortable without all the hair in his face but he just looks so grown up. We were hoping that it may mellow him a bit but so far no changes there. Everyone we have been in contact with since the cut (which was just last night) has noticed right away. I personally miss the hair. My friend Angela cut it and I'm amazed it all matches because Terek was all over the place. She was very patient and just moved with him. I have a cute video but don't know how to put it on the blog so if someone knows tell me please!
Sunday and Monday were beautiful sunny days with temperatures finally breaking the 32 degree mark. I think we actually got in the low 50's on Mon. Back to cold and snow by Tuesday. I have truly had it with cold and snow. I need some sunshine in my soul!
The kids are reaching the last weeks of school. We get out the end of May. I hope it warms up so we can play outside. BreiAnna is supposed to start softball but the diamonds are still snow covered. We really really need an indoor rec center here. Especially considering the fact that we have winter 7-8 months of the year!
I included some before and after cut pictures and some of the kids and dad moving the mounds of snow around so they will melt. I don't like how ugly the ground is when you see whats left when the snow melts. I wish it would melt and be green underneath. We needed the moisture but we are now praying for sunshine!

I remember when we cut Wyatts for the first time I cried and Tyler laughed at me.Terek looks a lot older now I think thats what made me cry with Wyatt. He looks very handsome tho. Still I'm a little sad I loved Terek's hair I thought it was so cute I can see why you had a hard time. I still think think he is the cutest baby ever!!
It's cute! I'm glad we got a pictures of the 2 long-hairs before they got it cut!! Most of the snow here is gone, but it's still cold most the time. Well, I'll be in BL the 24th, so hopefully we'll see you sometime that weekend!
He looks so cute. I can't wait to see him tomorrow! He does look older. Have a good trip; hopefully you will get some warm weather. Dorian was brave wearing shorts to plow snow! I'm still in sweaters, coats and long sleeves! I'm tired of being cold too!
Oh - move to Texas and you'll have summer/spring and fall 9 months of the year... we're wearing shorts and tees down here. I can't imagine snow... Too cute - and yes, wow - it really does age... :( hahaha
Oh, he's simply a doll... hair or no hair! I'm laughing at the thoughts of Angela wandering around with him to get a good cut. Every time I cut Brig's hair, I stick him in the high chair and try to distract him with something. I made the mistake of giving him a sucker once. Gross. Hairball's stick to them REAL bad! :)
I especially like the bottom picture with him wrapped up in the cord with the plug coming out of the wall!! HE HE!!
The good news is he's adorable. He'd look cute bald! He does look more grown up. It's sad that they have to grow up so dang quick!
I'm not saying that you look like a bad mom! You guys are awesome parents and good examples.---Yes I am so thankful for the friends that we have. It seems like everyday there's a confirmation of the "angels" that we have surrounding our family. We are so blessed! Thanks.
P.S. Shane does know how to cook mac & cheese!
Hey, I TOTALLY think we need that date night again. Maybe you should have Dorian call Tony & I'll have Tony call Dor... (sneaky...:) I like it better when the guys plan it
BTW, we can't do it this weekend, though. It's a crazy one for us. You'll see that I can't make it to your Pampered Chef party either. Sorry!
Just want you guys to know how much we appreciated the use of the condo. It was a great help and a place to go to have some peace. Thank you so much! You guys are awesome and an answer to prayer.
